Inter American University of Puerto Rico (IAUPR) holds a Renewal License from the Junta de Instituciones Postsecundarias de Puerto Rico, and all academic programs including the online education programs, are authorized by said Agency. IAUPR is an accredited institution and a member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) www.msche.org. Inter American University of Puerto Rico accreditation status is “Accreditation Reaffirmed”. The Commission’s most recent action on the institution’s accreditation status on June 22, 2023, was to reaffirm accreditation status. MSCHE is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education to conduct accreditation and pre-accreditation (candidate status) activities for institutions of higher education including distance, correspondence education, and direct assessment programs offered at those institutions. The Commission’s geographic area of accrediting activities is throughout the United States. The Institution is approved by the State Veterans Educational Services Agency to provide academic training to students under various GI Bill® programs. GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
